Here is a statement of my ethics and coverage policies.

I own/retain no stocks in any of the big tech companies. I do write WDADTW but again, I have no stocks or interests in Amazon other than editorially. I am under NDA for several companies that I work for and regularly agree to them and embargoes for products and services that I am exploring or writing about. Any conflicts of interest will always have a direct link to this disclosure.

I don’t accept any money, or anything else of value, from the companies I cover, or from their PR/ad agencies. Most of the technology is donated to charity after I have reviewed it or returned. I am an advisor to several companies and write freelance articles, for which I am paid a fee but these are not placed on any of the outlets I write for. I speak regularly and some opportunities are paid.

I have investments in several group funds, which are managed without my input by a private individual. Occasionally, and without my knowledge, the small portfolio may include stocks about companies I write for. While it’s highly unlikely, it could happen.

TBD Conference is a for-profit entity currently and does accept sponsors and partners but these do not affect the stage in any way. TBD is 100% my editorial decision.
